Paris - Novak Djokovic, the greatest tennis player of all time, has added an Olympic gold medal to his illustrious career at the 2024 Paris Summer Games, defeating Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in the final. Already the all-time leader with 24 Grand Slam singles titles, this victory completes his career collection, further cementing his position as one of tennis' greatest champions. At 37, the Olympic gold had eluded him until now, despite securing a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

So far, Djokovic has won an impressive 24 Grand Slam singles titles, solidifying his place as one of the sport’s all-time greats. His Grand Slam tally includes 10 Australian Open titles, 7 Wimbledon titles, 4 US Open titles, and 3 Roland Garros titles.
